Victor Alonso – Locomotive/Design
Engineer
Victor’s strong design engineering background and past
experience supporting General Electric Transportation’s diesel
engine rebuild assembly line in Mexico is a huge asset working
with all areas of our production. His experience in the
locomotive field enables him to easily interface between sales
and customers to establish, maintain, and develop processes and
procedures that ensure and support warranty claims and
procedures.

Tammy
Johansen - Director of Procurement
Tammy comes to the company with over 15 years of
experience in all aspects of purchasing related to the rail
industry in her former capacity with Alstom.
Her capabilities and experience will allow her to direct
this department as well as building valuable relationships with
vendors and contractors. She
is well schooled in the need for establishing and maintaining
quality standards of products, negotiating supply agreements,
and maintaining processes and procedures as they related to
overall company direction.
Her addition to the team will also provide ground floor
input to the establishment of technical software systems that
provide an integrated approach to managing the business.

Dennis King - Facility Engineer
Dennis has over 35 years of experience at the facility that now
houses American Motive Power Inc. His intimate knowledge of the
mechanical aspects of the facility has made him an invaluable
resource in the facility restoration and start-up process.
Dennis will continue to manage the facility and also the
maintenance department. His efforts to continue to optimize the
energy uses on site will directly impact our ability to
economically service the needs of our customers and provide
direct benefits to the turn around time associated with projects
at the site. The experience, dedication, and team effort
portrayed by Dennis will allow American Motive Power Inc. to
continue building a reliable resource staff capable of
accomplishing many tasks in the future |

Frank Peters - Estimating
Mr. Peters comes to American Motive Power, Inc. from Rail Power
in Houston Texas. He will be handling the coordination of
Estimates under the direction of the VP Sales, Marketing &
Business Development and will be responsible for tracking and
revisions of all estimates and insuring timely information is
being conveyed to the customer. He also has a broad range of
locomotive experience in Bids & Proposals as well as hands on
experience from a mechanical aspect to support his knowledge in
preparing appropriate estimates. His knowledge of Alco engines
is of particular interest given the number in use in the
industry and the need for knowledgeable individuals to properly
assess their role in fleet availability and maintenance programs

Paul Stiles - Corporate Controller
Paul has over 15 years experience in all aspects of corporate
accounting processes. His insight in to cost control, production
management, audit procedures, documentation of processes and
procedures, and general ability to formulate action plans based
on conditions is very beneficial to the business. His experience
in the rail business and projecting financial plans in to the
future, and his flexibility to adapt to the changes presented in
many scenarios, will offer the ability to maintain constant,
accurate monitoring of the details of the business and its
processes. The dedication Paul has in maintaining the criteria
set forth under Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures
demonstrates and further insures the integrity we demand from
the back shop through the Administration Staff assembled.

Joseph Tenaglia - Supply Chain
Manager
Mr. Tenaglia has joined the team of American Motive Power, Inc.
as Supply Chain Manager most recently from LaBatt’s Brewing
Company Ltd. of Montreal Canada. His locomotive experience
covers 26 years prior to his time at LaBatt where he was
employed by Alstom and its predecessors-CN Rail and AMF in
Montreal where he served in various capacities to include
Material Manager, Work, Material, and Production Planner as well
as Production Supervisor. His vast experience in the engine and
locomotive re-manufacturing business and his ability to
coordinate production with supply chain activities, further
strengthens AMP’s ability to meet delivery demands. |

Karl Thielges - Project Manager
Karl has a strong manufacturing and production based background
bringing more than 18 years of project management experience to
the position of Plant Manager. In this capacity, he has been
extremely instrumental in accepting the responsibilities of
opening up a closed facility and preparing it for the high level
of production planned. His substantial leadership qualities,
project execution skills, and positive customer relations
background provides a solid foundation for the manufacturing
processes and procedures. His experience in project management,
cost control, and production improvement processes will continue
to provide a solid foundation for building a strong and
productive manufacturing environment for American Motive Power
Inc. |

Sheila VanAuken - Human Resources Manager
Sheila’s 37 years of administrative support
experience makes her a strong addition to the American Motive
Power Inc. team. As Human Resources Manager, Sheila is
responsible for smooth personnel operations, providing a pool of
qualified staff and labor resources from which to choose from
for open positions, crafting and administering Company Benefit
Programs, and the development of sound policies and procedures.
Her past administrative
support background offers great organizational skills and the
ability to keep up with the ever changing regulations related to
Human Resource management. Her development of sound job
descriptions with Production managers has allowed AMP to meet
the learning curve demands of the business in that employee
selection opportunities for craft positions are properly filled. |
