JOSEPH
G. FEARON
Mr.
Fearon is Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice
President of Operations of American Motive Power, Inc.
Mr. Fearon was born and raised railroad and has had a railroad
career spanning over fifty years. He has worked as a crew
caller, mechanic, diesel maintainer, locomotive fireman,
locomotive foreman, locomotive engineer, mechanical supervisor
and diesel inspector, and is intimately familiar with locomotive
and railroad operations. He has made many innovations in
the railroad management practices, and holds over 60 patents for
machines he designed to save materials and time when building
track structures and laying track. Mr. Fearon also founded
Morrison Knudsen Corp-Rail Systems Group, and served as its
President.
His
Qualifications include:
- Originator
of over 60 US and foreign patents on track laying machines
- Over forty
years of senior management experience in the railroad
industry
- Specializations
in the management of railroad equipment, heavy
transportation vehicles and transit equipment
- Expertise
in alternatives in production, maintenance and materials
- Extensive
knowledge in the field of railroad products improvement,
including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems
- Professional
experience in application solutions, including equipment
fabrication to meet the highest levels of quality in the
most rigid of applications, while staying competitive with
market levels
Mr.
Fearon is a member of the American Railway Engineering
Association, Roadmasters Maintenance of Way, Air Brake
Association, American Shortline Railway Association, and Who’s
Who in Railroading. His vast knowledge, industry influence
and leadership experience is apparent and will provide
stability, structure and integrity to American Motive Power,
Inc. |

PIERRE DESROSIERS
Mr. Desrosiers has recently joined the staff of American Motive
Power, Inc. as Chief Mechanical Officer. He brings with
him 25 years of locomotive shop maintenance and management
experience. His resume includes Director-Locomotive Division,
Alstom Transport Canada; Various positions with Canadian
National Rail including, Mechanical Services Representative;
Superintendent Motive Power, Car Equipment & Railroad
Maintenance-Quebec North Shore and Labrador Railway; Technical
officer; Shop Supervisor; Planner; Analyst; and Engineer for
Tashereau Yard. His well rounded background brings the
organizational skills and methods required for managing
mechanical operations required in the locomotive business.
Also, his work experience has already prompted added interest
and positive exposure in the marketplace. |

STEVE BOMBA
Locomotive Sales Manager, brings over
11 years of direct sales experience in the field of locomotive
sales, leasing, rebuilding, maintenance and repair services to
American Motive Power, having most recently served as
V.P. - Sales for a major competitor in the locomotive rebuilding
industry, prior to joining American Motive Power. With direct
responsibility for formulating strategies and solutions to meet
our client’s motive power needs, Steve’s experience as well as
his commitment to build relationships built on trust, integrity
and on-going customer support will serve the needs of AMP’s
customers well. Steve’s background includes work as a federally
certified and licensed Airframe and Powerplant mechanic, as well
as in a sales and customer support role for United Technologies,
Pratt & Whitney Aircraft of Canada.
Steve’s strong work ethic, experience and
principled approach provide solid foundation to AMP,
complimenting efforts already in place. In a coordinated “team”
approach with the VP of Sales, Marketing & Business Development,
Steve’s efforts will focus on creating motive power solutions to
meet our customer's needs, on time, on budget, and in adherence
to the highest standard. |
